« Dedicated counselling room - fully confidential safe space
« Extensive pastoral team – a strong team comprising a safeguarding team, Student Support Managers, Raising Standard Leaders and Family Liaison Officers
« Integral Well-being team – the opportunity to impact the well-being of the whole Academy
« Strong SEND Support Team – working together to achieve the best possible support
« Well-resourced Hearing Resource Centre - specialist materials and resources to ensure high-quality teaching and learning takes place in all allocated classes
« Supportive and engaged teaching staff and leadership team – one of our counsellors have said, " Teachers are open-minded and really interested in how they can support. They are also onboard with therapeutic interventions.”
« Caring School Culture –we put our student’s well-being at the centre of all decision-making. We believe in Trauma Informed Practice. Behaviour is not looked at in a vacuum. It is looked at within a context, with mental health being part of this.
